Category talk:Classical socionics

From Wikisocion

But what does "Classical Socionics" exactly mean? Does it exclude some concepts, such as :

  • Dichotomies - yes, including Reinin traits, with proper critique
  • Small groups or Quaternions - clubs yes, but "quaternion" is a new term to 95% of readers (including in Russian socionics)
  • Plus and Minus - maybe, but with proper critique
  • Non-A models such as Models T or B - no
  • Dimensionality of psychic functions - probably not, but there will be a link from the page on psychic functions
  • etc.

Subcategories

I don't see the point of the sub categories at the top of the page. --Electric 11:35, 9 June 2007 (CDT)

Articles are ordered in plain alphabetical order. Socionics is a thing in which there are many concepts which have nearly the same name, i.e. "Extroverted Sensing" "Introverted Sensing", or "Alpha Quadra" "Delta Quadra" or "Intuitive Ethical Extratim" "Sensing Ethical Extratim" or "base function" "creative function". I added subcategories to improve readability. Machintruc 11:48, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
I agree with Electric, because up to 100 or more articles are fine for one category. I think trying to split it up too much will be confusing to many people. Also, you've invented some new terminology that people are not familiar with: "Fundamental IM objects" and "IM functions." This will be confusing as well. (Admin 11:52, 9 June 2007 (CDT))
I didn't invent that terminology. It was written on Axioms of socionics on another socionic wiki. [3]Machintruc 12:05, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
I think there's a little something lost in translation here. Niffweed17 20:54, 9 June 2007 (CDT)
Definitely. The original article is fine because it explains itself, but just listing the axioms won't work. Let me try to fix the article. (Admin 01:11, 10 June 2007 (CDT))

Reinin dichotomies

Here's an idea for dealing with the Reinin dichotomies. Maybe we can have a link to Reinin dichotomies in this category, but have the individual dichotomies removed. Then, we could have a box of links to all the dichotomies at the bottom of all the pages on the Reinin dichotomies, like Machintruc has done for the IM elements and other subcategories. Sounds good. Expat 08:24, 24 June 2007 (CDT)
