Talk:Delta Quadra
Isn't the section "Erotic dynamics" redundant and inappropriate ? This is not an adult website, and some readers can be offended by reading, even soft, erotic material. Think of how much supporters of purity could read this... --Machintruc 17:48, 8 June 2007 (CDT)
- As long as it is not too over the top I don't see a problem, it is still apart of classic socionics. --Electric 18:00, 8 June 2007 (CDT)
- Do a majority of socionists talk of erotic behaviours ? --Machintruc 18:02, 8 June 2007 (CDT)
- I think the best thing to do is create a separate page on Gulenko's "erotic attitudes" (Admin 18:30, 8 June 2007 (CDT))
- Actually, I don't know where the term "erotic attitudes" came from. "Erotic" has a loaded meaning in English, so maybe "romantic" would be better. The two works I know of that talk about this are "Life Scenarios" by Gulenko and "Erotic Programs of the Quadras" by Meged and Ovcharov. They basically talk about psychosexual behavior, so the word "erotic" might not be accurate. (Admin 18:31, 8 June 2007 (CDT))
Rick, great changes, but I'm not sure about this:
"yet can't manage day-to-day affairs effectively."
This sure applies to EIEs and IEIs from Delta's point of view, but would it also be accurate for SLEs and LSIs? I know it has to do with focus on Se and Ti rather than Si and Te, but, still. Expat 17:28, 10 June 2007 (CDT)
- Yes, I think this applies strongly to SLEs, and to a degree to LSIs. SLEs work great in periods of crisis and change, but become listless or randomly aggressive during periods of routine activity (Yeltsin was a typical case). LSIs, from Deltas' point of view, simply work on perfecting the system and applying discipline in ways that have almost no effect on productivity, and so this behavior is seen as being pointless.(Admin 17:36, 10 June 2007 (CDT))
Video and Images
Would examples of subdued and dominate elements in the form of videos and images be appropriate?--Electric 18:46, 8 June 2007 (CDT)
- Oh yes, definitely. That should probably go in a new page section called "Delta Quadra demonstrations" or something like that, with a discussion of each video/image.(Admin 18:55, 8 June 2007 (CDT))
