Looks like Germany is the "geographical center" for this crowd, except machintruc but he's limited to France. Shall I start looking for possibilities in the outskirts of Berlin and make a concrete proposal? Expat 09:09, 12 July 2007 (CDT)

A very quick search shows that it's very easy to find guest houses offering even single rooms for as little as 31 Euros with breakfast, and near Potsdam which is a very interesting area. Not necessarily, that sounds good except that if we leave it for too close to Christmas some of those smaller, family-run guest houses might be closed. I think late Nov - early Dec is probably best then. Expat 19:07, 12 July 2007 (CDT)
